Swansea West MP Geraint Davies has spoken out about the difference in pay between Men and Women.
Geraint Davies MP said “In Wales women are earning 18.1% less than men an hour new analysis reveals.
“Under the Conservative Lib Dem Government, the Pay Gap has nearly doubled.
“At a time when families are under real pressure, and women’s pay often determines how much food is on the table, this is particularly bad news for child poverty in Wales.Read more
Swansea West Labour and Co-operative MP Geraint Davies has tabled an Early Day Motion in Parliament welcoming the £935,700 award from the Heritage Lottery Fund towards the redevelopment of the Dylan Thomas Exhibition.

Geraint Davies MP has joined with members of the retail union Usdaw to campaign for respect for shopworkers as part of the Freedom From Fear Campaign, which seeks to prevent violence, threats and abuse directed at retail staff.
Attending a campaign event in the House of Commons, Geraint Davies has pledged to support a protection of workers bill that would introduce a specific offence of assaulting a worker serving the public, thereby extending existing protections for police officers, immigration officers and Scottish emergency service workers.Read more
