Lib Dems Election promise to invest in schools as they cut them

Swansea Lib Dem councillors are distributing thousands of leaflets across Swansea West claiming "The Lib Dems will invest in our schools to cut class sizes" 

Meanwhile the same people including their Parliamentary Candidate have voted on the Council to cut £5.6 million from the schools budget leading to teacher redundancies and larger class sizes across our City.

Said Labour & Co-operative Candidate Geraint Davies "The Lib Dems have the cheek to promote one of the councillors responsible for cuts in schools in a leaflet claiming they will instead cut class sizes. This is the most blatant example yet of Swansea Lib Dems saying one thing and doing another.

"As Council's across Wales are increasing schools funding with extra Assembly money Swansea's Lib Dem Council in Wales is cutting schools whilst claiming in the General Election that they will invest in them.

"The Labour-led AssemblyGovernment is committed to ensuring that in future money reaches schools,teachers and pupils.
