Promoting Swansea: 

Geraint believes that Swansea needs to build on the opportunities provided by the success of football team and the 2014 centenary of literary giant Dylan Thomas as well as the city's proximity to a glorious coastline and interesting cultural and historic heritage. His main issues are:

• Establishing a Swansea Bay City Region
• Connectivity: Electrifying the main train line from London to Swansea, cutting tolls on the Severn bridge and having regular ferry services to Cork and across the Bristol Channel to Somerset.
• Investment: Taking advantage of the abolition of regional development agencies in England as an opportunity for South West Wales.
• Improving Swansea's appearance
• Suporting local businesses
• Stopping the closure of Swansea's coastguard station
