Geraint is involved in a number of campaigns aimed at helping the disadvantaged in society.
REMPLOY: It was announced on March 7, 2012 that Remploy factories would close following a UK Government review. More than 50 staff at the Remploy factory in Bruce Road in Fforestfach will be affected.
It is proposed that Government funding will come to an end as soon as possible. The funding will then be used to support more disabled people in mainstream employment. Geraint has repeatedly spoken up for the need to keep these factories going.
