Geraint Davies, MP for Swansea West, has accused Boris Johnson of breaking the law by refusing to rule out a no-deal Brexit.

Mr Davies said, “the Prime Minister has just informed the House that on 31 October he will go to Brussels and ensure that we leave with or without a deal, in contravention of a motion we have just passed.”

Earlier this month, MPs passed a bill to block a no-deal Brexit by 327 votes to 299 requiring PM Boris Johnson to ask the EU for an extension to negotiations if a deal is not agreed before the deadline of 31st October.
