Last week Geraint Davies MP visited Swansea University and spoke to volunteers who were selling cuisine from all over the middle east to raise money for the relief work that is taking place in Syria and Turkey after the devastating Earthquake.

Geraint Davies MP said:

The scale of the tragedy and devastation caused by the earthquake is only now becoming clear, but efforts people have gone to help both on the ground and here in the UK is truly inspiring.

The earthquake took place on the 6^th of February, affecting parts of south-eastern Turkey and northern Syria, it has led to the death of over 50,000 people and injuring and displacing of hundreds of thousands more.
